  1. How long have you been an ADHD coach and how did you become an expert?

    I have quite a few academic qualifications. I am a registered nurse, a qualified counselor, and a certified coach with a degree in psychology. I have nearly twenty years experience in the health care field. However, I believe what makes me a truly great ADHD coach does not come from education but from personal experience.

    At the age of twenty-eighty I was diagnosed with “severe dyslexia.” I find that being dyslexic means I can relate to clients in a unique way. I struggled through school and found my own way to do tasks, sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously. While dyslexia and ADHD are different, both conditions leave the person feeling like they are different from other people. We are right brain dominant and this makes living in a world that is very left brain a challenge.

    The good news is that we have special gifts and talents and once the negative aspects can be managed, the positive attributes can shine through. This approach has worked wonderfully well for all my ADHD clients. It’s also the philosophy that I have outlined in my book Untapped Brilliance: How to Reach Your Full Potential as an Adult with ADHD.

  2. Who are your clients exactly?

    I work with people just like you. Professionals, entrepreneurs, and students who are living a good life, but want to live a GREAT life. People living with ADHD who know they have lots of potential, but they haven’t been able to reach it yet.

  3. How are you different from other ADHD coaches?

    I focus on the whole person. I do believe it’s important to have a healthy body in order to lead and live your best life. There are many non-pharmaceutical things you can do to minimize your negative ADHD characteristics. I am a positive, proactive person and this is reflected in my coaching. While it is necessary to do some work during the coaching process, we will tailor it towards what is meaningful to you. We’ll work with your strengths and preferences so that positive changes can be made as effortlessly and joyfully as possible.

  4. What type of personalities do you work best with?

    I work with all types of personalities; however, one thing all my clients have in common is that they are energetic, positive people who are motivated to make some changes in their lives. If this describes you then you would be a perfect coaching candidate.

  5. Who is this program not for?

    I am selective in who I work with. My clients are carefully chosen to ensure that those who do work with me will get the results they want.

    The Untapped Brilliance coaching program does involve a financial investment. If you are not presently in a financially secure position, this won’t be the right program for you at this time. You will be too worried about your finances to embrace the ideas and changes required to really benefit from this program. Don’t feel embarrassed or sad about this though. There are still lots of things you can do in the meantime, such as:

    • Sign up for my free tools.
    • Listen to the free audio.
    • Consider the relatively small investment of my book or ebook to get you started. This will give you lots to think about and actions to follow.

    When your financial position changes, I will still be here.

  6. What exactly is the Untapped Brilliance system and what does it include?

    As an adult with ADHD you will have some incredible and unique gifts and talents. You may know what they are as you are reading this, or they might be something that you discover during our work together.

    The program focuses on minimizing the negative aspects of ADHD, such as procrastination, poor time management, stress of daily life, cluttered living spaces, problems in communication, lack of joy, feeling bad about yourself, and maximizing your strengths and gifts.

    We take a holistic approach and look at all areas of your life, including:

    • Your physical health
    • Your physical environment
    • Your internal environment (including how you feel about yourself)
    • Your relationships
    • Your career
    • Your life ambitions
    • Your secret unfulfilled goals
    • AND fun.

    Once there is a solid foundation in place, we can really take your life to the next level. You will no longer be struggling to keep up with life. You will be one step ahead of the game. All your gifts and strengths will come out and shine.

  10. How quickly can I expect results?

    As quickly as our first session! Usually there are some shifts that take place during our first session. That coupled with the results of some homework uniquely tailored to you between sessions, it is very common to see a huge difference in a week.

  11. How will we work together and what does the program entail?

    If you are accepted as one of my clients, you will receive total support from me via email and our personal coaching sessions. If you live in the Montreal area, these take place at my office. If you are out of town, as many of my clients are, these will take place over the telephone. Our work together will be tailored specifically and uniquely to your situation. With me by your side providing moral support and practical tips, as well as keeping you accountable, you can make changes faster, easier, and more joyfully than you ever would on your own.

  12. How long is the program?

    To get the maximum benefit of working with me as your ADHD coach, I have found that a minimum of four months working together provides long-lasting changes. However, many clients like to continue our work together longer. You have that option, too.

  13. Do clients ever continue past the original program?

    Yes. Many clients enjoyed and benefited from the coaching experience that they wanted to continue after the original program ends.

  14. What are your coaching programs like?

    There are two VIP Coaching Programs:

    Option 1: 3 calls or visits per month, 45 minutes each, PLUS telephone and unlimited email support.

    Option 2: 2 calls or visits per month, 45 minutes each, PLUS telephone and unlimited email support.

    This program is often used as a follow-up after the first 4 months. It can also be used for those who have less time to invest or a smaller budget. You’ll still get results but usually at a slightly slower pace.

    Ask yourself which of these two options would best suit you. If you were to do this, when would be your ideal time to start?

  18. I am already so busy and overwhelmed that while I really want to work with you, I don’t have much time to spare. How much time do I need?

    Participating in one of my ADHD coaching programs is a little like exercise. Although there is an initial time investment, you get back more time than you put in. Not only do you feel that you have more time, your time is more fun and joyful because we create a life that is joyful and fulfilling for you.
