Finally, watched Man on Wire. Absolutely brilliant. The lesson learned from his experience was the amount of preparation that went into preforming the stunt, although one of his friends felt that they were under prepared. I guess at some point you have to actually do it. You can't prepare forever.

Adaptive Path has an interesting article on "Goal Mapping" at http://www.adaptivepath.com/ideas/newsletter/archives/012610/index.php

I did the Citizenship test about a month ago. Actually, it was quite nice to sit down and take the time to learn some history and facts about Canada. But just a heads up, the test itself is very. very basic, so don't be disappointed by it -- just enjoy the studying ;-)

If you're still seeking a location for your book launch, I would recommend asking Paragraphs Book Store to use their upstairs boardroom.
I've convened meetings there many times in the distant past, and the store might still be as accommodating.

If Paragraphs proves inaccessible, you might approach the Atwater Library, at Atwater and Ste. Catherine.

I agree with your above point.
I've been practising T'ai Chi Chuan (a form of Kung Fu)off and on for many years. I appreciate how the glowing hands and fingers, and the syncing of body and mind can reduce stress.

HI Dimitri
Its great to try new things and give yourself permission to stop if its not for you. At the beginning of the year I started to play tennis. While it was fun it didn't totally grab me. Kung Fu on the other hand has totally stolen my heart and I am meeting some amazing new people at the same time.
Be open to trying everything and if its not for you, move on to the next thing till you find your new passion.
Let me know how you get on!!
warmly
Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline,

This is a really good post. I find that I am at the stage where I need to find more things that I am passionate about. Knowing that you did something that you never considered to be you is very inspirational. It makes me think of what things are me which I always rejected in the past because of my limiting beliefs and insecurities.
