I used to think I was a morning person. Growing up, I was the first person in the house to wake up, shower and dress. When I was a nurse, I would wake up very early for the early shift and never hit the snooze button. I am not sure what changed exactly, but somewhere over the last ten years, I morphed from an early bird into a night owl. When I was writing my book, I did all the writing in the late afternoon into the night. Like many of my clients, I have a creative and energetic phase when lots of people are heading to bed. It’s rather magical on mornings when I do wake up before 6am to head out and see the world waking up. Like today. I am sitting in Starbucks in downtown Montreal, drinking tea and happily typing away. It is slightly rainy but that doesn’t matter because Spring is in the air and the day is full of possibilities!
