Last Monday morning the proofs of my book ‘Untapped Brilliance’ arrived at my office door via Fed Ex. I needed to read it through one last time before it going to print. As with all tasks that require lots of concentrate I headed to my nearest Starbucks. I felt a strange mixture of anxiety and excitement as I sat there with my tea and manuscript. Anxiety because I have worked so hard on this book for so long and now and I want it to be ‘perfect’, I was scared to see a mistake. Excitement because ever since I was a child I thought I would write a book and I can’t believe what started out as me typing in a word document, 18 months ago will soon be an REAL book, in bookstores that lots of people will be able to read.
Then last Friday morning I received an email to say the book will be dispatched from the printers on October 27th. Wow!!

Congrats, how exciting! BTW, the box(es) will be so heavy the UPS guy will knock on your door (and wonder what in the world you are getting), which is very cool, because you can tell the UPS guy that you are an author and it’s your latest book. ;-p
